Sleep Out Ambassadors

Our Sleep Out Ambassador program welcomes motivated and passionate high schoolers to act as student leaders at our annual Sleep Out in November. Beyond the actual event, Ambassadors attend pre- and post-Sleep Out personal development workshops, assist in preparation for the event, and plan their own Student Sleep Out in the spring.

This is a unique opportunity for New Orleans students to get involved with local nonprofits, learn about the causes of homelessness, receive professional development in a collaborative setting, and to gain invaluable leadership experience. Students are credited with over 50 service hours with CHNO by the end of the program.

Applications open each August; please email volunteerNOLA@covenanthouse.org with any questions.
