Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
We’re grateful for caring people like you who help us create a magical holiday season for Covenant House youth. We appreciate your donations of Christmas gifts – see our wish lists below for some ideas.
Please follow these guidelines to help us build a holiday season full of magic.
- Shiny and New – For Christmas presents especially, we are accepting donations of new and unused items. We are happy to accept donations of gently used items at other times of the year.
- Made With Love – We also accept donations of handmade items like hats and scarves. About 100 young people ages 16-22 will spend Christmas with us, so please make as many as you can!
- Skip the Gift Wrap – Our staff want to give your gift to the young person who will appreciate it the most. To do so, we need to see what it is – please bring presents in unwrapped. We hate to spoil a beautiful present, but we must open any presents that arrive wrapped, even if labeled. Plus, it’s one of our favorite things to do!
- Our youth are ages 16-22 – Please be sure to shop for teenagers ages 16-22. While we occasionally serve small children ages 5 and under, we receive far more gifts and toys for them than we will ever use. Thank you in advance for donating presents for teenagers!
- Gift cards are great – Occasionally, we do have youth that prefer to receive gift cards so they can find something super unique. Gift cards in denominations of $10, $25, or $50 help us do so for as many youth as we can.
